The harsh nature comes right up to the door. Inside the five igloos are modern and comfortable with electric heating, radio, TV, telephone, tea and coffee making facilities and a small bathroom with a shower. There is room for two persons in a double bed or in two single beds and the whole experience is so special that only a real igloo can beat it.

When you walk out of the igloo the Hotel Arctic reception and restaurants are just a few paces away. The distance is short when measured in metres but you will probably feel that when you go back to your igloo for the night you are entering a completely different world.
