Training
At Hotel Arctic, we train young people who want to work as chefs, waiters, receptionists, office assistants, or reception and tourism assistants. Moreover, we offer three-month apprenticeships to young people who are studying service management. We often have between eight and twelve students at the hotel.
To be admitted to this training, you must apply to Inuili, the food college in Narsaq. Once you have been approved by Inuili, you can apply to complete the practical part of your education at Hotel Arctic.
Training

Chefs
Training lasts for four years, and alternates between practical experience and five school terms. The first two terms are taken at Inuili and the last two are taken at Food College Aalborg.
Waiters
Training lasts for three years and four months, and alternates between practical experience and four school terms that last for 10 weeks each. The first two terms are taken at Inuili and the last two are taken at Food College Aalborg.
Receptionist
Training lasts for two years and four months, and alternates between practical experience and five school terms that each last for 10 weeks. The first two terms are taken at Inuili and the last three are taken at Food College Aalborg.
Reception and tourism assistant
Training lasts for two years and six months, and alternates between practical experience and school terms at both Inuili and Niuernermik Ilinniarfik Qaqortoq.
Office assistant
Training lasts for four years, and alternates between practical experience and school terms at Niuernermik Ilinniarfik Nuuk or Qaqortoq. Hotel Arctic offers one trainee position and therefore takes on one new trainee every four years.
